Physical Exercises

According to the National Institutes of Health website, “Regular exercise is a critical part of staying healthy. People who are active live longer and feel better.”
For your body to function properly and maintain health, participating in regular physical exercises four to five times per week is absolutely imperative. During physical activities, fresh blood is forced into the blood vessels throughout the body, toxins are washed away and oxygen and nutrients are distributed to all cells, thus, help strengthen and heal the entire body.

Many health experts agree that a lack of exercise lowers metabolic efficiency, and without circulatory stimulation, your body’s natural cleansing systems are weakened. By engaging in exercises for a minimum of 30 minutes at least five days a week, according to researchers, you add from 18 months to four years to your life.

Also, experts say that exercise:

  • Stimulates and builds the cardiovascular, respiratory and lymphatic systems
  • Builds and strengthens the bones and muscles to prevent the bone-weakening disease, osteoporosis
  • Builds the nerves, blood, glands, lungs, heart and brain
  • Enhances clarity of mind and mood
  • Helps to maintain a healthy body weight that relieves pressure on your bones and joints, which can help prevent conditions such as arthritis
  • Helps you sleep better; a good night’s sleep helps maintain your physical and mental health.
